Laufey Lín Bing Jónsdóttir (professionally known simply as Laufey), the Icelandic–Chinese singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist take on jazz and classical-infused pop.

• born on 23 April 1999 in Reykjavík, Iceland. Her father is Icelandic, and her mother—a classically-trained violinist—is Chinese, originally from Guangzhou.
• Laufey gained early public attention as a finalist on Iceland’s Got Talent in 2014 and as a semi-finalist on The Voice Iceland in 2015
